To Hayao Miyazaki funs, Ghibli Museum is one of the favorite and not-to-miss stops while visiting Japan.
And here's a situation -- You are traveling Japan with someone, and you are not that interested in Miyazaki's films. But your accompany is a big fun of them. What do you do? Do you sacrifice your precious time and visit the museum?
Here's an alternative spot that can satisfy both of you.

JFE Steel is in the process of lowering this factory's operation, and these two inactive ones are still left on the site. (If you look at the aerial picture version of the site on google map (see it from the map below) you can see the image before the demolition.)
This is an edgy structure, which signifies Japan's manufacturing power -- and it happens to look like one of thoese structures, which appears on Miyazaki's film. (Reminds of Howl's Moving Castle.)
The structure can be witnessed from the nearest station -- Soga Station in Chiba. Though it's detour, it's a worthwhile edgy stop before you head to Narita Airport. (The best way -- take taxi from/to Chiba Station. Cost around JPY2,000)
