Dazzling Painting Night in Shibuya

Tatsuyoshi Tsuruoka, the edgy painter, is on the move again. This time, at a club.

On March 13th, Tatsuyoshi has performed his very first live painting at a club in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The venue, titled "Scrap and Build" is consisting from a jazz/techno-arranged DJ set, dance floor, drinks, and most importantly, Tatsuyoshi's live painting.

"Since the painting took place in a club, I wanted my actions to uplift the atmosphere. So I moved my body swiftly to agitate the floor. As for the painting, I had in my mind to use many vivid colors to match the surrounding environment."

Tatsuyoshi recalls.

After 4.5 hours of painting on the 180cm x 180cm canvas, here it is -- the final work.

"I didn't know how this was going to turn out, so I was just letting my hands flow with a beat of music."

Tatsuyoshi grinned, with a cup of coffee on his hand to ease up his agitated mind and body.
