Edgy Site Next to Asakusa: Tokyo Sky Tree Construction Site

"Wow."
That's the first word you can come up with.
Here's Asakusa (one of the most popular tourist spots in Tokyo) area's new edgy attraction, Tokyo Sky Tree. The tower will be complete in 2012 and it will be one of the world's tallest tower structures -- 634m.
What's so edgy about the tower? It's not the tower itself -- it's the massive construction site. As mentioned earlier, the tower is still well under construction, and currently its hight is 303m. (as of February 23, 2010.)

From Narihirabashi Station's platform (A stop away from Asakusa Station by Tobu Line, or 15 minutes walk from the central Asakusa area.), there's a flat 180-degrees view of the site.
Enjoy and feel the power of Japanese construction right in front of you.
(Note: There's a poster in the platform, saying "Due to the passing trains, don't lean towards the track to take pictures." So, please watch out.)
Need a drink after walking from/to Asakusa? Stop by here for one of the best pints in the town, Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold.
