Tatsuyoshi Tsuruoka/鶴岡達悦

Tatsuyoshi had a live painting March in a club . on. Here is a report on the venue.

Tatsuyoshi had a solo art exhibition, THIS IS SHIT. on February 20-26, 2010. Here is a report on the venue.

Among his peers, Tatsuyoshi, a full time gardener, part-time actor for a theater company, and a lifetime artist, is known for his verbally-indescribable creative world. His live illustration works, inspired from what he has felt with 5 senses at the scene, seems very complex. Yet, there is something that makes an observer to say "wow" or "this is something".
His creative origin starts from his pre-teens, when he was exposed to Frank Lloyd Wright's famous work, "Fallingwater" and decided to become an architect. He attends Tokyo National College of Technology, a high school, specialized in engineering. During this time, his passion for doodling during the classes has become a foundation for his lifework now. (Since doodling is a basis of his expression, he frequently uses a back of printed paper and wrapping paper for as his canvas.)

There are many artists out there, but Tatsuyoshi's output, or artwork is something that can only be expressed by him.
