What is the expiration date of a bottle of milk? 4 to 5 days? If that's the case, most of the products must be sold in this short span of time.
ボトル入りの牛乳の賞味期限は何日くらいだろう？ 4〜5日？ だとしたらこの短いスパンの間に、ほぼ全ての商品を売り切る必要がある。
The vending machine doesn't look new and it seems that it's been sitting in here for more than a couple of years. So the speculation is that there is a bunch of people who routinely (say, every morning) purchase a bottle to start up her/his day.
この自動販売機自体、そんなに新しくない。ということは、この場に置かれから既に何年か経っているのだろう。となると、毎日（毎朝？）ルーティンとして、この自動販売機から牛乳を購入する層がいるのではないだろうか。

こちらが使用方法。
On the bottom, there is a container for empty glasses, and plastic wraps.
下には空瓶の収納箱とプラスチックラップ用のゴミ箱が。
